1. Principal Marketing & Customer Experience Officer- LP8

Terms of Service: Permanent

Our client, operating within the Pension Fund sector in the East African region, is looking to fill key positions to join a team dedicated to delivering client centric services aligned with its strategic goals and plans for the next five years and beyond. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, candidates must be prepared to take on vital roles defined by the policies and frameworks established to fulfill the organization’s core mandate.

An officer at this level will work under the supervision of a more senior officer.

a) Duties and responsibilities

(i) Participating in brand building activities through extensive member education using media, road shows and sponsorships;

(ii) Carrying out customer service initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction;

(iii) Maintaining inventory of marketing materials;

(iv) Carrying out marketing & customer experience events management;

(v) Preparing reports on marketing campaign and preparing divisional budget on marketing; and

(vi) Attending to customers through responding to their queries and providing guidance.

b) Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

(i) Served for a cumulative service period of nine (9) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of Senior Benefits Administration Officer or a comparable position;

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution;

(iii) Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized

(iv) institution;

(v) Membership to a professional body and in good standing;

(vi) Proficiency in computer applications; 

(vii) Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and

(viii) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
