Senior Planning & Business Development Officer-LP14

Our client, operating within the Pension Fund sector in the East African region, is looking to fill key positions to join a team dedicated to delivering client centric services aligned with its strategic goals and plans for the next five years and beyond. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, candidates must be prepared to take on vital roles defined by the policies and frameworks established to fulfill the organization’s core mandate.

An officer at this level will work under the supervision of more senior officer.

a) Duties and responsibilities

(i) Developing and sustaining solid relationships with Funds stakeholders and customers;

(ii) Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with Funds products and services;

(iii) Providing insights into product development and competitive positioning of the Fund (iv) Conducting marketing search to identify new business opportunities;

(iv) Collaborating with the Management to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

(v) Developing and implementing targeted strategies for members acquisition and retention.

 

b) Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

(i) Served for a cumulative service period of six (6) years, three (3) of which must be at the level of Business Development Officer I, PSSF Grade 7 or a comparable position;

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Business Administration or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution

(iii) Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing;

(iv) Proficiency in computer applications; 

(v) Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and

(vi) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

vii. A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation)

viii. A current clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
