ROLE SUMMARY
The Personal Assistant to the CEO is responsible for providing confidential administrative/management support to the CEO while ensuring an overall smooth flow of work/operations of the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Managing all administration and operations in the Chief Executive Officer’s office
ii. Managing and monitoring the Chief Executive Officer’s diary and appointments
iii. Coordinate travel arrangements for the Chief Executive Officer and Board Members
iv. Monitor all output, workflow and office deadlines as pertains to the CEO’s office.
v. Receiving and handling all correspondences and assigning them as appropriate.
vi. Drafting, typing and dispatching all routine correspondences
vii. Act as liaison person between the CEO and Management to ensure timely feedback on Assignments.
viii. Monitor all meetings of Departmental Heads, noting key issues for reporting and follow- up.
ix. Supervise employee attached to the CEO’s Office
x. Maintaining and updating records at the CEO’s Office
xi. Identify risks, maintain a register, review and implement risk mitigations.
xii. Develop, monitor and report on the divisional workplan and performance targets.
xiii. Develop, monitor and ensure prudent utilization of the budgets.
xiv. Develop and monitor implementation of the procurement plan.
xv. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and standards.
xvi. Prepare and submit timely reports and information for decision making.
xvii. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
i. Bachelor’s degree in business related field
ii. Professional qualification and Membership where applicable
iii. Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks.
iv. At least ten (10) years’ work experience four (4) of which must be at Management level
v. Proficiency in Computer Applications
vi. Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution
vii. Good Communication and interpersonal skills

viii. A current application for clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
